My Thoughts: And its true the Darkness continues. Awesome story to follow up on. If you read “Predators of Darkness: Aftermath”, You have got to read this one.

This one was action-packed, more then the other. It tied up lose ends and made me enjoy characters that I hated from the first.It’s great to see old friendships thrive and new ones come about.

Oh, How I love Morton (the talking cat) I wish I had one of those. He is dependable, strong, and at times very funny.. I giggle when I read his lines. I was touched by his love for his family. Its funny how he believes he is smarter then a dog. I had two cats who believed just that.. They are a bit more sneak huh?

The thing is, I find this story not to far fetched… I believe that one day some other force (or other living species, besides the animals we already know) will come about. What do you think?

I mean we as a people, or the military, experiment with animals and other living things (im sure we know nothing about) and one day those expierments will back fire..

I was truly frightened by these shifters and they are getting stronger, and smarter with every book. And I have to say it kept me reading. In the first story I didn’t to much like them but now that they are getting stronger… It makes it more fun to read.

I do enjoy Hilley’s writing style, he keeps me entertained and on the edge of my seat with excitement. There was much more drama and a lot going on, I started to get confused toward the middle. I couldn’t figure out who was on whose side.

But.. He did an awesome job keeping me engaged and in the end everything became clear.. Clear enough that makes me want to jump into the last book of this series.. I cant wait to find out what happened to Lucas clone and that new FBI agent.. Im ready to see her KICK ASS!!!

I gave this 4.5 chocolate strawberries: I really liked it. This is one really neat series you should read.. Maybe I can watch the movie later… (No, there is no movie yet but hopefully)
